The Indo-German MBA-IMC® course
The MBA-IMC® course is designed to ensure your success. In only 4 semesters with a total of 64 teaching days you learn about all relevant aspects of general management and iInternational management consulting. You can apply the newly gained knowledge and methods directly at work. Lecturers are professors from both institutes and international consulting executives.
The course is structured in such a way that there are hardly any restrictions on your professional activities. Classes are scheduled mostly on weekends or in blocs of 4 to 6 days. Therefore students from outside Kolkata can also participate in the programme. All examinations, presentations and homework take place within the semester. You finish your course by writing a dissertation on the subject of your choice - either in Germany or in India.
The first and second semester are held in India, the third and fourth semester in Germany. The course is delivered in English. German is an elective; it increases employability and communication during the stay in Germany.
MBA-IMC® is accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) in line with international accreditation standards. Curriculum and delivery are based on quality assurance systems and involve leading representatives from institutions like Federal Association of German Management Consultants (BDU), European Federation of Management Consultants (FEACO), major consulting firms and multinational companies.
The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the "German Study Programmes Abroad" programme.
